About Petfitly

Petfitly is an independent website for anyone who loves animals: people thinking about their first pet, and people who already share their home with one. We publish guides, breed profiles, quizzes and simple tools about dogs, cats, small pets, birds, fish and reptiles, in English, Serbian, French and Spanish.

What we believe

• Choose thoughtfully. The best pet decisions start with everyday life, not a favourite photo. "Not yet" can be a responsible answer.
• Every animal is an individual. Breed and species information describes tendencies, never guarantees.
• Useful and enjoyable. Practical guidance and room for curiosity, fun facts and the lighter side of life with pets.

How we write

• Our content is original. We research facts from multiple reputable sources and do not copy other sites.
• We share general information, not veterinary advice, and we point readers to a vet for health questions.
• We avoid made-up statistics and say when something varies or is uncertain.
• We correct mistakes when we find them or when readers tell us.

How Petfitly is funded

Petfitly is free to read. It is funded by advertising and, in future, may include clearly labelled affiliate links. Advertisers never influence what we write, and our quizzes are always ad-free.
